Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details. May coordinate messages, appointments, and information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. Research and compile word processing assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all reception activities including welcoming on-site visitors, determining nature of business, and announcing visitors to appropriate personnel Acts as gatekeeper to ensure that only authorized persons are allowed to enter NuVasive offices

  • Creates documents, spreadsheets and presentations in a timely and accurate fashion

  • Handles all event and meeting logistics, including booking rooms, choosing vendors, inviting guests and booking travel arrangements as necessary

  • Maintains lobby and mail room organization while also managing office equipment, printing materials, desktops, any other Office assets allocated to team, and other online purchasing for the facility

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to work confidentially

  • Professionalism, organization and problem-solving skills

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, document management software and ability to navigating the Internet

  • Strong interpersonal and relational skills

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
